Selfless Wishes

I saw a lady today releasing wishes.

She walked along the sidewalk and scooped the seeds off of dandelions with each sway of her hands and released them into the air. Dandelions are pretty smart that way. To ensure people help them spread their seeds they promise wishes. Sure, the promise of a wish doesn't guarantee the wish is granted, but the appeal is too great to not pluck a stim and give the flower a pursed-lip-kiss to unleash the seeds. But this lady wasn't making wishes. She didn't whisper any desires into the seeds before blowing them apart. She just set free the seeds. I wonder what kind of life one lives where they don't even the need the idea of a wish. What a selfless life. What a beautiful life.
